Timing Chain

A timing chain is a metal chain inside an engine that synchronizes the rotation of the crankshaft (moves pistons) and camshaft (opens/closes valves). And ensures they operate at precise intervals for proper combustion. Unlike a rubber timing belt which sits outside the engine and requires periodic replacement.
