Valve Stem Seal

A valve stem seal is a small but crucial engine component that prevents excessive oil from entering the combustion chamber. But allow just enough to lubricate the valve stems, controlling oil consumption and emissions. They are typically made of heat-resistant rubber (like Viton) with a metal jacket. And come in designs like deflectors or positive seals, sealing against the valve guide boss in the cylinder head.
