A Throttle Position Sensor is a crucial engine sensor. It tells the (ECU) (or ECM) how far the gas pedal (accelerator) is pressed. And also monitors the throttle plates opening to adjust fuel delivery, ignition timing, and air-fuel mix for smooth performance.
