Valve Train

A valve train is an engine’s breathing system. It is a mechanical system of components (camshaft, lifters, pushrods, rocker arms, valves, springs) that precisely controls the opening and closing of intake and exhaust valves. Also synchronizing air/fuel entry and exhaust expulsion with piston movement for efficient combustion in an internal combustion engine. Driven by the crankshaft, it dictates engine performance. There are designs like (SOHC) (Single Overhead Cam) or (DOHC) (Dual Overhead Cam) affecting complexity and efficiency.
